The number of in-office procedures is increasing while there is growing pressure to control costs. This in-office surgery room was designed to enable physicians to:
- Meet patient demand
- Contain procedure costs
Well-organized storage puts instruments and supplies within arm’s reach. The procedure table offers maximum flexibility to bring the patient to the caregiver.
- Procedure Centered
The surgery procedure room is designed to support caregivers with easy access to instruments and supplies. Mobile carts and mobile work surfaces create an efficient workflow.
Mobility and careful design reduce clutter before, during and after the procedure.
Wireless foot control of the procedure table enhances efficiency and eliminates the danger of trips due to cords on the floor.
- Procedure Zone Efficiency
The procedure zone is designed around the caregiver, optimizing access to the patient, the work surface and to supply drawers.
Fully automated control of the procedure table brings the patient to the physician for best access. Ergonomic design reduces strain and fatigue for the caregiver while increasing the overall efficiency of the procedure room design.
- Enhanced Ergonomics
Key features allow optimum positioning of the patient:
- Barrier-free access
- Eight-way adjustment
- Pre-programmed positioning
- Large range of motion
A ceiling-mounted procedure light reduces clutter while providing optimum visual clarity during procedures.
- Public/Private Zones
In this room, a limited space defines the family/visitor zone, or public zone. The public zone includes seating for a family member or visitor and is clearly separated from the procedure zone.
The patient care zone, or private zone, allows maximum flexibility and efficiency for procedures.
- Barrier-Free Access
In this barrier-free layout, space is kept open to allow a 60-in. wheelchair turning area and transfer of the patient to the exam table.
The distance from the door to the corner of the room (18 in.) is needed for patient egress.
The Barrier-Free® procedure table is fully accessible, providing greater safety for patients and caregivers.
